I went and saw The Lucky One yesterday, which I have been meaning to do for a while now so here’s my review!
The movie is based on the book by the same name by Nicholas Sparks (writer of the notebook), the story follows Logan (Zac Efron), a marine, who believes he was saved by the picture he found in the field of Beth (Taylor Schilling) and his journey to find her and thank her for saving his life. I’m not going to say to much about the plot as always, just give you my opinon on the film. I have always loved Zac Efron and I thought his performance in this film was surpurb! He had definatly made a fantastic transition from disney and musicals to grown up, adult films. Taylor Schilling is a fairly new actress and this was her big breakthrough role, I don’t mind her at all but I do think there are other actress’ out there that could have played the part better and just would have worked a lot better with Zac. One thing I must point out is the soundtrack, I loved it! The songs that played throughout the film, were all fitting and and just wonderful, I loved them all! It went for 100 minutes and I found that it went for the approraite amount of time, I really enjoyed the film, there were a few shocks throughout it but I really liked it and would see it again. It’s not a tear jerker but I can’t say your boyfriends would enjoy it as much as us girls, its definatly a chick flick! The Lucky One: Loved it!

Titanic. What a classic movie and real life story. Last night I went and saw Titanic in 3D and this is what I thought.
Titanic is such a classic film and I have loved it ever since I was kid and was thrilled when I discovered it was comng back to the big screen, on the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking. The ship sunk on April 14th 1912 and so I saw it on April 14th 2012 exactly 100 years later. Kate and Leo’s chemistry is just fantastic, and they really should be a real couple, anyway… As for the 3D side of the film, it wasn’t fantastic. There really wasnt a lot of 3D but that’s understandable, the film was shot over 10 years ago with ordianary cameras not 3D cameras so the film just had to be digitally remastered, and there is only so much you can do with a 2D film then remastering it. I still think the film is put together wonderfully, although it goes for 3 hours, theres never a dull moment. One thing I have always loved about this film, is the soundtrack. The beautiful piano peices throughout it, they will always make me cry. The main thing I loved about seeing this was that it was so amazingly good ont he big screen. You can watch it 100 times on your tv and it will never be as good as it is on the massive cinema screens with the surround sound. I’m so glad I had the chance to see it on the big screen, it was just extrodaniary. Titanic, will forever live on and I’ll never let go.

I’m sorry this is so late! but I hope you enjoy!
Okay, I went and saw American Pie on tuesday night and it’s sooo funny! If you havent seen the first 3 thats okay, theres alot of inside jokes throughout the film that wont make sense to anyone who hasn’t seen the first 3 but if you did want to see and have a laugh then do go still see because its very funny! Okay so everyone from the orignal films are in this one apart from Jim’s mother, the main storyline is pretty much said in the title, they all meet up again for their high school reunion but each of them have there own personal issues going on too. As always Stifler is just hilarous and each of them are in their own way! This movie is full of laughs and I really recommend it! I’m sorry this isnt very long and is overdue, I’ve just had a lot going on, but I hope you enjoyed! Thanks!

CHANNING TATUM IS THAT ATTRACTIVE.
Anyway, I saw 21 jump street yesterday so here’s my review!
As always I’m not going to explain the plot because I don’t want to ruin it for everyone. But that said, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum who play Schmidt and Jenko are police officers who end up going undercover in high school to try and bust some kids with drugs. I have never seen the orignal tv series so I’m not comparing it to that. The storyline was great and made perfect sense, the writing is exceptional! It’s soooo funny!!! Channing and Jonah surprisingly work really well together and both bring their fantastic acting together to create a great film! The plot is great, the acting is great, it’s such a funny film and it went for the right amount of time and never got boring, it was constantly on the ball and entertaining for the whole film. I really enjoyed it!!!

It’s here!!! Yay, I’m so excited! Okay, let’s get started.
Okay, if you’re reading this I assume you know what The Hunger Games are and I’m not going to exlain the politics of it, I’m just going to give you my review. I’m a huge, huge, huge Hunger Games fan and have been waiting and waiting for the film to come out and so as soon as I knew there was a midnight screening in my town, I had tickets. The film itself goes for just over 2 hours and when I heard this I thought that it might drag on a bit but it didn’t at all, the film was actully quite quick paced. There is not as much detail in the film about certain things as there is in the books but that’s usually the case when books become movies huh? The main points are there and there is no major changes between the book and movie. The cast was abosulutly perfect. They really couldn’t have cast it any better. Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson are fantastic, as is Donald Sutherland who plays a magnifcent President Snow. Liam Hemsworth is great, although we don’t see alot of him in this film, what we do see, he portrays Gale very well. Being a massive fan of Josh Hutcherson and Peeta, I was thrilled when I discovered Josh was playing Peeta. He did an absolutely amazing job! and I can’t imagine anyone else as Peeta, he really took up the job of playing Peeta and was comepletely him. But the real star of course is Jennifer Lawrence. What an abosulely amazing actress. Jennifer portrays Katniss and does an excellent job of it! She really brings life to this character and I really have no words for how amazing of an actress she is, no one could do Katniss better. And a special mention to Alexander Ludwig who plays Cato, he did a great job! As I said, the movie runs for over 2 hours but it defiantly doesn’t feel like it, I felt like the games part of the film went a little to quick, I would have liked to see a lot more of it and of Katniss and Peeta becoming closer but I think that’s just the book coming out in me. Anyone who has read the books will automatically compare the two and may have slight dissapontments as I did but to anyone who hasn’t read the books will be completely blown away. I really did love the film, although it’s not a good as the books but how often does that happen? alot. I recommened everyone to go and see it, there we’re so many different people are the screening, there were children, young cute boys ;) (haha) and older woman and gentlemen. There are some blood and gore but it’s hardly anything and doesn’t make you look away from the screen, so if you’re worried about that, don’t be. I would have liked to see some of the songs from the soundtrack throughout the film but it may have taken to much attention away from what was really happening, so I can understand why only scores were played throughout the film. The Hunger Games; a great plot, a great cast, an abosolute fantastic film.

Hey guys, so I saw The Vow earlier and here is my review! :)
Okay, so just by seeing the trailer I knew it would be a film I would enjoy. Channing Tatum (Dear John) and Rachel McAdams (The Notebook) are both extrodaniary actors and worked so well together on-screen. The movie it self is based on true events so plot wise I don’t think there is alot I can say as it was taken from true events, no one just sat down and wrote it. The story itself is very quite sad and is defanitly a tear jerker. I never lost intrest and did enjoy the movie, I felt like it could have gone for a little longer but considering the story line and how it panned out in the end, (I’m not saying much, I don’t want to give anything away.) it was well done. Defanitly a chick flick, I enjoyed it! :)

Yaya!!
Saw Journey 2 today and loved it! I have always loved these films, I didn’t see the first one until it came out on dvd and honestly I only got because of my love for Josh Hutcherson but absolutely loved the film once I watched it. The movie had a solid plot and a great cast, Josh and Vanessa Hudgens worked very well together and Dwayne Johnson was a great leading character. Micheal Caine, well isn’t he just fabulous. Not only did the movie explore, the mysterious island (obvisouly, haha) but it also explored relationships, between Sean (Josh) and his step-dad (Dwayne), Sean and his Grandfather (Micheal) and Sean and Vanessa’s character, Kaliani. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through and although it was quicked paced and only went for a mere hour and half, everything worked out and I really throughly enjoyed it. An excellent cast and excellent plot equals a great movie!

Okay, so I’ve always liked the chipmunk movies and since I was babysitting on monday I decided to take the girls to the movies and check this out!
As the film is a kids film it didn’t go for too long and it wasn’t too short, the storyline was good and young children could understand it. The music/performances by the chipmunks as always were great and I did throughly enjoy the movie. Defnaitly one for the kids, they loved it! I wasn’t bored at all during the film and would happily see it again.

I do apologise for the short review but as I said it was a short film with a very simple plot as it is for children. :)
Okay, so I’m finally started my movie reviews and this is the first for 2012!
I saw the trailer for this movie and it looked really good but the movie itself wasn’t. I’m not going to say to much about the storylinr as I dont want to ruin it for you. The plot wasn’t really caputuring for me, I never really got into it. It just seemed like a real sort of ‘flowy’ movie. I’ve never been one for George Clooney but his acting was great and Shailene Woodley was also very good! There were a few sad moments toward the end but nothing that made me go ‘oh my god’ or ‘wow’. Lets put it this way if I had to pick a movie to watch, I wouldn’t pick the descendents. As the acting is very good, I didn’t enjoy the plot and found the movie very slow.

Thanks, Sarah.
